Platform Video Game

Summary: A fast-paced platforming video game built in C sharp using the Unity game engine.

Project overview: I’ve always been very interested in how games are built, so I set out to create one of my own from the ground up. For this project, I designed a grappling-based platformer where players gain speed by chaining precise, well-timed grapples. One of the biggest challenges was fine tuning the movement system - especially balancing speed limits differently on the ground and in the air - to achieve the exact feel I wanted. After many iterations, I reached a result I'm proud of. This project became a great introduction to game development, physics based mechanics, and problem solving involved in bringing an idea to life.
